
Guardian Ad Litem
A Guardian Ad Litem is is appointed in a cases to investigate and report findings back to the court. During the course of the investigation the Guardian may:

Conducts Interviews with Parents, Children, School Officials, Mental Health Professionals, and up to 3 collateral sources

Inspects the home of each parent

Writes a report to the courts which is submitted (10) ten days prior to a final hearing

Makes Referrals for Drug Testing, Psychological Testing, and Criminal Background Checks

Host a settlement conference

If a settlement has not been reached, we will attend court as a party on behalf of the children
-
Starting retainer is $2000.00 which is billed at a rate of $200.00 an hour
-
Sliding Fee Scale is available for low income families
